Frequently asked questions

What is the Research Desk?

It is the same deep-research engine that starts every Genαi article, opened up so you can ask it your own question. You get a cited, engineer-grade brief emailed straight to your inbox — no account required.

How is a brief sourced?

Each brief runs a multi-source research pass and cites its sources inline as links — the same process used to report every flagship article on this site.

What do the tiers cost, and are there limits?

Quick briefs are free and take about 20–30 minutes; deep reports take roughly 40–60 minutes. Every brief is fact-checked before delivery: a verification editor web-checks the versions, prices, and benchmark claims it makes. Both tiers require an email address, since your finished brief link (and a designed PDF) is delivered by email only. Both tiers have daily quotas to keep the research engine responsive for everyone.

What happens to my question and email?

Your question and email are stored only to produce and email you your brief, and to improve the service. Finished briefs are added to the public library only if you opt in, and always anonymously; your email is never published.
